Our areas of specialized practice have expanded to include rock mechanics, soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, hydrology, hydrogeochemistry, engineering geology, structural geology, photogrammetry, terrain mapping, GIS modeling and environmental engineering. Typical projects that we undertake include open-pit slope design, slope depressurization programs, mine water management studies, waste dumps, ARD management, underground openings, plant site foundations, landslides and geological hazards, route and site selection, roads and pipelines, sedimentation and retention ponds, acid rock drainage, mine closure planning, groundwater supply and contaminated sites. We also conduct audits and 3rd Party reviews, and participate on numerous Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Review Boards.
