Company Description

BEHLEN is Canada’s largest manufacturer of steel building systems, selling steel structures, including industrial, commercial, recreational and institutional facilities. BEHLEN trades on an international scale, boasting the world’s largest frameless building, located in Siberia, and holding an international soccer field certified by FIFA. BEHLEN also manufactured the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola terminals – an iconic landmark in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics – and constructed the roof of the Gangneung Ice Arena in South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympics. BEHLEN has been manufacturing mining projects in North and South America too, and recently won the biggest industrial contract to manufacture 31 buildings for Shell Canada’s heavy oil development, to be completed with Edmonton based partner NWS Construction. BEHLEN is recognized as one of Canada’s 50 best-managed private companies, was the first steel building manufacturer to be ISO 9001 certified in North America, and is the first company to use an innovative automation manufactured production process.
